Is Walley really free?
Yes. Logging expenses, budgets, savings goals, IOUs, streaks and insights are free and will stay free. Walley Premium is an optional upgrade for encrypted backups, safe receipt storage and a larger AI allowance.
Does Walley need my bank login?
No. Walley never connects to bank accounts and cannot move money. You log spending by typing, scanning a receipt, speaking, or letting Walley draft entries from payment SMS on Android.
Where is my financial data stored?
On your phone, in an encrypted database. Walley has no server that stores your transactions. Optional features such as the AI coach or exchange rates use the internet only when you switch them on.
How does the AI money coach work?
The coach reads a numeric summary of your spending, answers questions, forecasts cash flow and warns you before you overspend. Identifiers are removed on your device before anything is sent, and you can inspect every request in the app.
Which phones does Walley support?
Walley is available for Android on Google Play. It works offline, supports any currency, and does not require a Walley account.
